Account Executives at Whatagraph
Account Executives at Whatagraph are full-cycle sellers responsible for creating, managing, and closing new business opportunities. This role is outbound-focused, but you’ll also work qualified inbound opportunities- success comes from being able to balance both efficiently.
This is a high-velocity sales role. You’ll manage multiple opportunities in parallel, run structured discovery, guide prospects through evaluation or POCs, and consistently close new business. Strong pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and prioritization are essential to succeed.
You’ll engage digital marketing leaders across agencies and B2C/DTC brands, positioning Whatagraph as a long-term partner through value-based selling.
- Your success is measured by new Annual Contract Value (ACV) closed, pipeline quality, and forecast accuracy- not activity for activity’s sake.
- You’ll report directly to the Head of Sales and work closely with SDRs, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
What you will do
- Generating pipeline through outbound efforts: Proactively create qualified opportunities via targeted outreach to ICP accounts, supported by and marketing initiatives.
- Managing the full sales cycle: Own deals end-to-end, from discovery and qualification through evaluation, negotiation, and close.
- Running strong discovery and qualification: Lead structured discovery calls to understand business context, urgency, decision process, and success criteria.
- Conducting product demos and evaluations: Tailor product showcases and guide prospects through trials or POCs when appropriate, setting clear expectations.
- Pipeline, CRM, and forecasting discipline: Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in Salesforce, manage deal progression intentionally, and forecast reliably.
- Prioritization and time management: Balance inbound opportunities, outbound pipeline, active evaluations, and closing deals without losing momentum.
- Customer handover and collaboration: Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions post-sale and long-term customer success.
- Feedback Loop: Share market feedback with Product and Marketing to improve messaging, positioning, and product direction.
To be successful, you will need
- 2+ years of experience as a closing AE in B2B SaaS or technology sales
- Outbound experience with a proven ability to create pipeline, not just work inbound
- A track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and deal prioritization
- Experience running discovery-led, value-based sales cycles
- Comfort managing multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- High coachability and self-awareness: This is a fast, high-visibility role where gaps show quickly. You’re open to direct feedback, don’t take it personally, and consistently work to improve your skills, judgment, and execution.
- High ownership, resilience, and accountability - this is not a “wait for leads” role
