    Why should I choose Whatagraph over Looker Studio for GMB reports?

    When it comes to GMB reports, Whatagraph has several advantages over Looker Studio (ex-Google Data Studio). 

     

    1. The biggest one is that Looker Studio doesn’t have a native connector for Google My Business. You must either configure the GMB API and write LookML models or purchase a third-party connector from one of Looker Studio's partners.

     

    With Whatagraph, you won’t have such troubles thanks to a pre-built GMB integration. Just add the account as a source, and your data is connected.  

     

    2. Looker Studio templates have a fixed layout. You can’t rearrange the widgets or change the metrics, dimensions, or visualization type. It is what it is. 

     

    On the other hand, you can change almost every part of a Whatgraph Google My Business template. Move or remove existing widgets and add new ones, resizing them where needed. Edit the metrics and dimensions for every widget in the report, apply filters, and add headings to organize the report into sections.
